Recreational Gymnastics
Whether you have had a little exposure or none at all, boy or girl, you are all welcome to train in the safe, supervised and fun environment that the Hub Gymnastics Club offers. The age of participants ranges from 4.5-14 years, and provides the basics of gymnastics suitable for school aged children in a non-competitive atmosphere.
Gymnastics improves strength, balance, posture, concentration and stamina, all while having fun. Gymnastics is widely recognised as a key building block for all sports.
Each session is 60 minutes in duration. All sessions consist of a warm-up, skills training and a cool down period.
Recreational Gymnastics comprises of learning skills on bars, beam, floor (cartwheels, handstands and strength work ) and vault (mini- tramp and spring board).
MiniAero A fun and exciting session designed to develop basic skills such as balance and coordination, as well as the energetic dance aspects of Aerobic Gymnastics. This session does not include bars, beam and vault/mini tramp.
Children are taught in small groups by a qualified coach and groups are made up depending on ability, age and size.

MiniAero sessions

2025 COSTS
Classes are $18.00 per session, fees are paid at the start of the term.
An annual registration fee of $90.00 to cover membership to Gymnastics SA including insurance and a membership pack.
Clothing Requirements
As a safety requirement, suitable clothing is needed to be worn at all training sessions.
Girls are encouraged to wear their Rec T-shirt with crop top/leotard, bike shorts or leggings (no skirts or dresses). Older girls must wear a crop top.
Boys should wear stretchy close-fitting shorts and Rec t-shirt.
Long hair to be tied back.
No: belts, buckles, zips, jewellery (studs & sleepers are fine), any items that can scratch the gymnast, the coach, or the equipment.
No footwear is required during training as all children will train barefoot (no socks).
A BOTTLE OF WATER IS ESSENTIAL FOR EACH CLASS
